Hi, I’m Dr. Michelle Hamilton

Dr. Michelle is a Licensed Acupuncturist, Educator, and Coach who’s been working in the wellness industry for over 21 years and practicing acupuncture for over 14 years. As a Doctor of Chinese Medicine, she is passionate about helping people heal from physical and emotional pain using holistic healing modalities.

It all started with Zen Den

In 2019, Dr. Michelle opened Zen Den, a hybrid-style acupuncture clinic located in San Luis Obispo, California, where she offers sliding-scale community acupuncture and one-on-one private acupuncture in a tranquil clinical setting. Through working with hundreds of patients as well as her experience as a business owner, Dr. Michelle has figured out how to make acupuncture affordable and accessible to everyone while increasing her income. Today, she helps acupuncturists revolutionize the way they practice ancient medicine to meet modern needs and open the impactful and profitable business they’ve always dreamed of.  

In addition to running her two businesses, Dr. Michelle is a single mom of two who leads an active, outdoorsy lifestyle as a passionate trail runner and yogi. Most notably, she won first place in 2 marathons, completed a 100-mile Ultra Race, and won first place in the FMG bikini fitness model competition. She lives in sunny San Luis Obispo where she can be found hiking, at the beach, or spending time with friends and family.
